In general view, the crafting interface is an easy-to-understand one, unlike complex crafting in actual Minecraft. You can search from the 83 pages of recipies with the search menu. You can also filter the craftable ones with the craftable tag.
You can also craft in bulk when you want to, either in 64 times of crafting or converting all possible resources into the target version, as long as your inverntory is not completely full.
You can craft items by right-clicking on a placed crafting table, or clicking the "craft" button at the top of the screen. Both have the same recipes and give the same result.
