Elytras are a type of armor that can be used for flying over blocks!
Usage[]
Elytras are an extremely useful armor, although weaker than leather armor when unenchanted. The elytra allows users to fly over blocks and obstacles by pressing the spacebar. Players can also sprint by holding shift while flying, causing them to move faster. When flying, players will move toward their cursor regardless of wasd inputs.
Obtaining[]
Elytras can be dropped by Bosses upon death as part of the random loot. NPCs also have a chance to drop an Ender Backpack.
An elytra will spawn in an item frame inside the structure in the End City biome.
They can also be found by chance in random loot chests.
There is no crafting recipe for elytras.

Trivia[]
If you use an elytra completely, its texture changes to Broken Elytra.
