Unlike in Minecraft, Herobrines in Mine-Craft.io isn't scary.

Introduction[]

Herobrines are regular player-sized mobs that deal high amounts of damage.

Spawning[]

Herobrines spawn naturally in Spawn at night, along with other common hostile mobs. They also can be summoned in the Mob Arena by stepping on pressure plates that activate command blocks.

Herobrines also spawn in the Stronghold portal through hidden Herobrine Spawners in the walls.

Otherwise, they may be spawned with their respective spawner and spawn eggs.

Behaviour[]

Herobrines remain motionless when left alone. They occasionally turn around in random directions, as if casually moving about.

When it spots a target, such as a Player or gets hit on accident by a mob nearby, it pursues the target, relentlessly sprinting in its direction. Herobrines will walk through lava, spider webs, water and cacti to reach its target, often dying in the process.

When Herobrine dies, it vanishes and drops loot and experience.

Drops[]

Herobrines drop the following:

  • Chance for a Totem of Undying, increased with Looting
  • Chance to drop its head, increased with Looting
  • Exactly 20k experience.

History[]

Trivia[]

As Herobrines drop significantly more experience than most hostile mobs, many players prefer to farm them, using cacti to kill them and picking up their experience.
