Hopper Sorter

Hopper sorters are used in donation worlds, farms, and many other places for cleaning and sorting purposes.

Obtaining

• You can craft 1 Hopper Sorter with 5 Iron Ingots and 2 Redstone
• You can buy 4 Hopper Sorters for 16 Emeralds in the Shop (Warp) and Shop v.2 (Warp)
• Finding them inside Christmas Presents and Lottery Cases
• Killing Bosses (Excluding Shrek)

Usage

• Sorting Items (Ex: You want Rubies but not Emeralds )
  • They can act as a normal Hopper if you'd like

Behavior

The item transfer section on the left behaves like the normal hopper, 4 slots to pass items through.

The right side selects the valid item(s) that is allowed into the proceeding chest. The items that do not satisfy any of the allowed types will be rejected, either put back into the last chest, or not be picked up.

If there is a chest before it, the rejected items will remain there. Many players put chests before and after the sorter for the sake of efficiency and clog avoidance.

How to use

• Put an item into the 8 right slots
  • Ex: 1 Ruby , more than 1 of each item is not required.
    • You can also put more than 1 item if you want, like 1 Ruby and 1 Emerald
• Line up the Hopper Sorter with surrounding Hoppers or Chests
  • Note: They must be facing in the direction you want them to go
    • Ex: If you want the items to go North/Up, You must place the arrow facing North/Up

Trivia

• There are 8 Slots for Items you want to sort, and 4 slots for Passing Items
• They act the complete opposite of Excluders
• It currently has no Skins available
