Portals[]
Portals are a way to transfer players from one world to another, usually by placing temporary (if you are a visitor) or permanent (if you are a member or the owner) portal blocks on the surface. There can be some trolls and tricks that can be exploited to sabotage worlds, especially for giveaway ones.
These can also be used to advertise one's own worlds, especially by placing it near a location frequently visited, such as the default spawn. There, a player might be:
- Unfortunate enough to click on the portal
- Entered it due to pure curiosity
In addition to world portals, different portals that naturally in default worlds leads players to a different dimensions (such as the end or the nether) or a different structure of a specific region (such as End Cities, Desert Temples, Jungle Temples etc). Some portals are purchasable in the default shop and shop V2.
Properties[]
- When multiple portals are stacked on each other and a player attempts to enter the portal, the bottommost portal will be selected for teleportation.
- Portals auto-despawn after 1 minute if the user who placed the portal is not a member in the world
- Portals are considered blocks
- When a user places a portal with another portal placed somewhere else (provided that the user is not a member), the older portal will automatically be deleted.
