The Skeleton Boss is a boss mob that is hostile towards players. Its weapon is the bow, which is always enchanted.
Spawning[]
The Skeleton Boss is found in the Dungeon Portal, when the Spawner in the center is a Skeleton Boss Spawner. It can also be spawned by a Skeleton Boss Spawn Egg, or acquired Skeleton Boss Spawner.
Behaviour[]
The Skeleton Boss wanders around aimlessly. When it spots a player or mob that isn't a skeleton, it immediately attacks, shooting arrows at the target. It may also spawn skeleton minions to help itself. These skeleton minions have significantly higher damage than normal skeletons. Like Zombie Bosses, Skeleton Bosses can break blocks that are stopping their movement, with the exception of all Spawners and Bedrock.
When the Skeleton Boss dies, it explodes and drops loot.

The Skeleton Boss drops several rare items, such as
- 20-60 Rubies
- Random single enchantment books
- Random items of max stack size(64x)
- Arrows and bones
Trivia[]
When Skeleton Bosses were first added, it always dropped its enchanted bow upon death. The enchantments were Piercing 1, Power 20. However, that drop has since been removed.
Skeleton Bosses are hostile towards other bosses, including other Skeleton Bosses. They need to fix that.
