The snowball is a throwable item with 2 custom textures. Snowballs are known to cause in game lag and crashes especially when used in large amounts very quickly. Use of snowballs in mass mob farms is not recommended at all. Snowballs interact with their own hitboxes and will spread apart when they are thrown in succession, which causes extreme lag as the server has to deal with the snowballs flying around. If a player experiences a crash due to this item the the easiest way to get back into the game is by hitting the '''esc''' key and going to the main menu, then entering another world. Snowballs have a normal stack limit of 64 and an infinite stack limit of 1 million.

== Acquiring and usage ==
[[Snowman|Snowmen]] will drop snowballs when killed. Shovels can be used to collect snowballs from [[Snow layer|snow layers]], but they can also be bought at the main shop - 64 snowballs for 2 emeralds. Snowballs are mostly used to craft [[snow]] - 4 snowballs craft into one snow [block]. Snowballs are otherwise useless and hard to get outside of the main shop.

When a sword with the '''Snowball''' enchantment hits targets, it has a chance to fire one snowball at the target.
