A snowman is a neutral mob that walks around and makes snow layers form on the ground. Not to be confused with Snowman Boss, a large boss mob that was part of an event in December 2022.

Natural[]
Snowmen naturally spawn in Spawn(main world).
Otherwise[]
Snowmen may be spawned by creating a 3 block high structure consisting of 2 blocks of snow in the first 2 layers then either a pumpkin, carved pumpkin, or jack o' lantern. If the arrangement is successful, a Snowman will spawn in place of the structure.
They may also be spawned using their Spawner and Spawn Egg.
Behavior[]
Snowmen wander around aimlessly, walking across small distances, occasionally turning. As they do so, they create a trail of Snow Layers on the ground.
They ignore players but throw Snowballs at most hostile mobs. They are neutral, so when they are attacked by a player, they turn hostile and start launching Snowballs at the player, dealing very little damage.

When a Snowman dies, it may drop:
- Snowballs, amount increased with Looting
- Its Head, chance increased with Looting

- Snowmen were added to the game on September 21, 2020.
Trivia[]
- Though spawned with a pumpkin, snowmen do not wear pumpkins.
