Starter kits are a set of items the game gives to a player automaticallly when they join a new world, as long as the player does not do /kit disable.
Starter kits are given with a Wooden Pickaxe 
, a Wooden Axe 
, a Crafting Table 
, and 16 Apples 
. It is typically given as a noob kit. You can manually acquire it by typing /kit in the chat or /kit disable to turn off further kits from appearing in your inventory.
